You only have one sub back there? If you had two I would say one is cancelling out the other and you should flip the +/- on one of them.

If not, what do you mean by the subs "aren't really doing anything"? Is there a lot of movement, or is it just vibrating very little.

Have you set your gain **** correctly? Do you have your high pass filter on instead of your low pass filter?

Could be many things :I

hmm. Yeah, turn off the High Pass/Low Pass filter and see if it changes. You didn't mention if you have set the gain correctly. Thats the most important part.

I'm thinking it might be your head unit. Does it have a sub volume control? Do you have to turn on the pre-out from the setup menu? I know I'm getting repetitive, but are there any crossovers set wrong on the head unit itself? :P

If you want to find out if it is the amp that is screwing up, try this: Take a voltmeter and connect it to the RCAs going TO your amp. Press the + probe on the center post and the - probe on the outside "ring" part of the RCA. Find out what the line out voltage is supposed to be for your head unit and check if its close to that (with the voltmeter/multimeter set on 200VAC).

If you cant find out what its supposed to be, it should be over 1v USUALLY.
If it's 1V or more, the amp is messing up.

Its a Lanzar amp. Its probably one of the shittiest amp around. They say they put out eleventy billion watts MAX but in reality you'll be luckky if they put out 50 watts rms per channel.
