Amp Viberation, soft padding ?
Amp Viberation, soft padding ?
Here is how I have it set up

Now, I just finally got the system going today, and found anything about more then half volume, the box/amps were really viberating bad.
I took the whole amp mount apart, and just went over everything, making sure all my mounts I made are nice and tight, and that the amps are secure.
Would adding a peice of foam underpadding, under each amp, possibly help with any viberating, and would it be safe for the amp.
Thanks.

Hey man, i had a simmilar prob wit my hatch, there is a wicked simple solution.
Do you know the weather striping tape they sell at home depot places and such.
You use it to keep out drafts and such. I got like 50 feet from CDNTire. well go pick sum up, its cheep, take ur amp off and put enough tape under it (2 layes should be more than enought) so that when u screw ur amps down again u can feel the tape being squished and bingo!
hope that helps
