AudioControl EQL installed, how to set up (settings)?

So I installed an AudioControl EQL last night, but I have no idea how to set it up. (settings on both the EQ and amp). There is also a 2v LED on the EQL, how do I get that to turn on?
Im running an Alpine CVA-1005 deck to the EQ, and from the EQ to a RF 450s amp.
