Bazooka..
Bazooka..
Okay, I want to buy this:
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10 131741&catid=11051
But the assclowns at futureshop says I need a full amp kit?
It says it comes with a:
BTA8100FHC includes FAST HARNESS - a universal factory interface kit to allow the tube to work with virtually ANY factory DVD or CD player.
I looked at the Harness kit and I'm like wtf.. so many wires..
I don't even see a place on the bazooka to connect a wire from the battery?
Anyone have any clue how to install this thing before I buy it?

amp kit is to power it up.. the signal can be fed off the 2 rear speakers and use the LP filter on the amp to low pass it thats all... i dont know what they were trying to sell u but all u need is like 8gauge wire and ground thats it
I read on Amazon that the FAST harness actually takes the same 12v that the radio takes...
"if you're looking for an easy way to connect a Bazooka subwoofer to your car stereo, this cable does a great job. However, keep in mind that you'll also need one of Bazooka's FAST adapter harnesses for your car stereo make (e.g., Honda, Toyota, etc.), or else the universal FAST-9999 harness, to use this product. Fortunately, you won't need to run any other wires because the sub receives power through the harness. Just plug everything in and go."

And as for the bazooka... you can buy a real sub instead.
They are OK but I really cant say all that much positive about their SQ or their SPL. On the positive side they are inexpensive and they are a nice sized convenient package
Sorry John.
Yeah, I'd hate to buy a $50 amp kit again and buy a amp and a sub and a box etc..
Its such a hassle.
Unless someone had a bundle for me..
Looked in the For sale but theres not much there.
Space is also an issue.
