air saw are you refering to hack saw blade recipricating saw
a diegrinder cutoff saw

yes i agree a nibbler is does a messy job so does a jigsaw in unskilled hands
the think i like about a nibbler is if the blade or attachment breaks or dissinigatates you don't leave a messy trail all over what ever your cutting
for cutting metal and its covered by a speaker the nibbler is my choice

Yes I was referring to a pneumatic reciprocating saw. I used to use a nibbler but, as you know, they get cranky when the metal has curves in it and they're thickness limited.

I prefer the air saw but yes it takes much more skill to control.
