BMW need and LOC?

Upgrading a BMW 325i sedan with Harmon/Kardon 10 speaker system. Leaving in the OEM head unit but replaceing speakers and installing two amps, 4-ch for speakers and mono for sub.

My questions. What signal is coming from the head unit, speaker level or preamp? Do I need a LOC or line driver to convert the signal to my amps? The amps I get will have high and low level inputs and I will run the preamp output into the other amp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since your amps will have high level inputs, just use those inputs, theres no need to buy a LOC.
