the zr240's are rated 300 rms @ 2 ohms to my knowledge, anyone know any different? my plan was to put one zr240 on each type R.
im beginning to lean more towards sealed because i do listen to a variety of music.
Also for the sealed box, any opinions on single chamber vs seperate chambers?

If you are going to go with 2 amps eventually, separate. If you are going with one go with an acoustically coupled sealed (shared).

I had 2 Type R's in a ported box. I was running 1200 RMS to the pair. They handled it no problem. Good subs IMO and I would strongly recommend ported. I had 1 ported, 2 sealed, then 2 ported and to me the ported were better.

They SQ was good in all 3 of my setups. Better than most subs I had before them that were sealed too.
