I have the MTX4244 4ch amp and only my American Bass 6x9's running off of it.

http://www.americanbassusa.com/SQ6.9.html

I would like to know if I can bridge the amp.

Yes, the amp can be bridged, and gives 120w RMS x 2 at 4 ohm.

This should work great for your setup.

ok great, now is it just a matter of taking the (+) lead and putting it to the (-) of the front channel for each speaker?

On the underside of the terminals on the amp, it will show you which terminals are for bridged 2 channel mode. Then run pos+ to pos+ and neg to neg- from the amp to the speaker.
