Instead of flocking you should go barnyard and just stretch a white latex glove over them.

That will be option #2 I think.

They will be installed this weekend. Then flocked and reinstalled after it they have dried.

Well the pods were fitted and the pillars have been cut and preped. Grills have been painted and magnet were added to hold them in place. Flocking as also been added. Here are a few pics of where the pod are currently. They will be installed tomorrow so finished pics should be posted then.

Flocking is a really nice way to finish items that are too complex for unstiched vinyl or similar products. It's also affordable and easy to work with.

is that flocking stuff like sprikling pepper over something?

It's a two part product, glue and flocking (very short hairs). The glue and flocking are the same colour. The tall yellow tube is the applicator. There are larger applicators, but I haven’t had the need for one yet.

All you do is brush on a liberal amount of glue, then fill the applicator with the flocking and "pump it" so the flocking shoots out the end. When it hits the glue, it sticks. And the great thing is, you cannot add too much flocking, because only so much will stick. The rest of the material that didn’t stick or landed somewhere else can be reused.

When its all done the part will look and feel like velvet.
