Can i run 2 amps off a 2 farad cap?...R/F 4002 and Earthquake 4 channel

You can run 6 amps off one cap if you want. The cap only acts like another battery, except faster recharging, so you can use as many amps as you like.

 

Thanks for the reply.The world of car audio is all new to me.

So i should run one main power to the cap and than run 2 wire to my amps from the same + terminal..So 3 + wires will be on the cap terminal...and than find a good ground.

 

Yea, just use your cap as a distribution block to power your amps. Then you can connect all the grounds to the cap negative then you only need one ground in total.
