Cool

check to see if you have accidentally removed the engine ground, or burnt the fusible link or main fuse. what kind of car??

do you have headlights or any interior lights on?
does your car even click. if everything is on and nothing happens when you turn the key, could you be in gear, or the clutch needs to be pushed in , or the brake pressed. Maybe you just have a bad starter. check your battery conncetions, you might have left a wire off. or even disconnected something. Worst case scenario, you might need a new starter. best case, you burnt a fuse. good luck. have you tried push starting it(if the starter is bad and the car is a standard). hope you find your problem. maybe you drained the battery if you had the stereo going for too long. The batt has enough power to run the radio but not enough to start the car. Get a boost first to see if this helps

Yeah the really weird thing is that I have command start for my vehicle and it starts the car just fine. But when I try to start the car with the key it does nothing. No clicks nothing just dead.... Its a atomatic car.. Its stumped me I have no idea what is wrong.

Could be the key switch or a corroded wire or could have something to do with the remote start. I had one years ago that caused havoc in my car pulled it out never had another problem and the irony is that it was the only thing I ever had professionally installed.Good luck.

Did you run your own ACC wire from the ignition? If so you might have accidentally disconnected the ignition wire. Even if you didn't run your own wire, I'd say take off the steering column and check out the wires attached to the key. Maybe this was something that was bound to happen and it coincidentally happened at the same time you installed your stereo.

If the car started fine before, then suddenly wont even click - it sounds to me like a connection has failed - or a fuse has blown. Check all of the fuses in the car fuse panel, as well as all of the fuses under the hood. Then check the wires going to the key ignition. If none of this does anything, you might have to take it to a garage.

maybe your alarm is the problem. not that it might be bad, but maybe you hit the valet switch or the programming is changed. most likely it thinks it needs to stop the car and only works with the alarm. you may even have a defective relay. i'm not too familiar with the alarm, you should post in the install section and ask about your alarm programming and /or how to set the valet mode or not.

Is there any possibility that it could be that my amp is drawing too much power and when I go to start it, there's not enough to start the engine?
