Hah, I've seen/heard this done before. Most of the time it sounds better then the stock stereo, and the Z-2300 aren't that bad for being 2.1 computer speakers. Probably a decent upgrade if the car is pre 2000's.
The z2300's are 200Wrms, so your 600w inverter should be up to the job. As long as it actually puts out close to what its advertised at. I would look into running an additional power wire. Another run of 10awg would be plenty.

He says they sound good, so to him they sound good. Who the ---k are you to say he's a retard for using what he's got? Logitech makes a pretty good computer speaker, I don't know how they sound in a car, but it's not MY car, and it's not YOUR car, it's HIS car. So he puts in HIS car whatever the ---k he wants to, why is he a retard? If that was what you had lying around, would you have thought of it? Ghetto? Not everyone can afford to buy car audio man. He took what he had and made the best of it. All power to him. Just cause you are in a better place doesn't mean you have to put someone else down.
