Clarion "Bus power lead" ??
#1
I will be installing my new Clarion DXZ745MP stereo this weekend, but I need help with the wiring.
This deck has two yellow wires:
-Memory backup lead (heavy guage wire,15A fuse)
-Bus power lead (light guage wire,3A fuse)
What is this "Bus power lead" ?
Is it for powering the CeNet bus input?
Do I have to connect the Bus power lead if I dont plan on using the CeNet input?
Can anybody help?
Thanks,
Stew

The large power wire is indeed to provide constant 12V to any CeNET devices - Sirius tuner, changer, iPod box, TV tuner or DVD changer. For now, just connect it to the same constant power wire as the smaller yellow wire.
While you don't have to connect it, I would suggest doing so anyhow. It's there for a reason.
