Clarion components... HELP!!!

it does it when the car if off and running.

both sides.. and another thing, I did notice that the channels seemed to be crossed when the speakers were working originally. For example I tried to balance from L to R and the just mixed together.. if that means anything?

It usually means they are out of phase..........are they louder when balance is all the way to one side or the other??.....

Those speakers should sound really good running on that amp.....the HPF should be on and set around 80hz or so and start with the gain at '0'.....double check the power, ground and speaker wires....it sounds like something is grounding out somewhere....hmmm
