Crap, I think I ordered the wrong wires!!!

In my youthful installation experiences I have used 99AltimaGXE's slice and shove approach as well...oops for me too! I don't think it really matters electrically but aesthetically (and install quality) the adapter would look better.

so do you think i ordered one to many 4 guage kits? Should I go get an 8 guage amp kit? I know I need to get a distribution block for sure.

I would keep the 4 ga and then split it to two 8ga near the amp with a dist block. But, you might want to get a dist. block with fuses for each line out for future use...
