Finally got back to my buddy's car

it was the Crossovers for the MB Quart.
so no amp just deck power.
as soon as you hook up the crossovers even if there is no speakers hooked up to the crossovers it starts to cut out at mid to high volume

anyone ever hear of this?
I guess the xovers have too much resistance

 

they were on a deck

so what can I do other then amp them (doors and tweets)
