Just a question thats been bugging me.. i recently purchased a couple woofer from overseas.. the manual states only hook up one voice coil in sealed boxes.. i contacted the company and sure enough thats what they said.. Is this something new? i always thought both coils had to be used on a dual voice coil woofer?? anybody know about this?

I`ve heard of that but they also suggest to wire a potentiometer to the other coil..
I guess its for adjusting the Q of the enclosure.
