Does wiring in box have to be speaker wire?

does the wiring in my box have to be speaker wire or can you use just regular wire?

You can use any type of wire for speaker wire. I have used 10 guage power wire for my speaker wire before (I know extreme overkill). You just need two strands of the wire, one for the positive and one for the negative.
