HI , might sound silly but I heard of various accidents with older style caps and since I am not sure where my 3 caps linked together qualify I'd like to know the process of draining/ discharging them to make them safe to the touch of a screwdriver etc ...

Thanx .

arc that **** until it stops sparking, a great tool for doing this would be some jewelry you might be wearing like a gold ring, or even your toung!
Kidding, lightbulb to charge and discharge.

the only way to mess up a cap is to hook it up backwards.

They discharged a cap at mobile dynamics (university of Bass), just by touching the two leads together, you won't destroy the cap, but anything with resistance is the safer way not to start a fire from the spark lol.
