Dynamat Extreme Installation

So I picked an awesome time of year to resume my hobby after a ~2 year hiatus. It has been around -10 to 10 *C lately and I was wondering if the adhesive still works well when applied at this temperature.

I do have a garage, but doing the trunk and doors would be so much easier on the driveway. Plus then I can put off cleaning the garage for another week or two.

Also, does anyone experienced in installation have any helpful hints, tricks, tips ect for applying this stuff? Thanks in advance.

edit: I just had a crazy idea. The space behind my rear seat trim panels is pretty big, would I be crazy to put egg cartons over the dynamat in these areas? A co-worker told me that he lined a room with these so he could play a drum kit without it being too loud for everyone else in the house.

It needs to be warm to apply it....the hotter the more plyable it is and makes working with it easy. Also find a roller of some sort(you can buy one from b-quiet.com)and use a hair dryer to apply heat to the material and panel.

Yea.........u gotta clean ur garage my man, and invest in a $15 heat gun, heat everything......... You dont need to do and metal in ur trunk with curves, only the flat surfaces resonate, so do multiple layers on all flate surfaces.....
