Well I'm going to be putting a monitor in place of my rear view mirror (I dont want the mirror screen) and I need to know what the ballpark cost of having it fiberglassed off the roof would be... I'd use a flipdown as well, but I have a sunroof that says otherwise..

hehehehe

I assume you plan on hanging on to the car for 3-4 more years to justify the expence your shoveling into it?

I loved that time frame VW Golf, solid frame, decent acceleration, super in snow

Well I do have qutie a few plans laying ahead..

(possibly trying to make 'er a show car)

Anyways, The fiberglass will be soon after I make my new box, which will wall off the rear window thus I need a rear view camera, and a screen to accomodate it.

I plan on shaving all of the "rain gutter" things around the doors (rust haven), and getting the very small ammount of rust repaired.

Future for this car provided I complete all of this, is to swap a VR6 in there.. Which will be costly. And for the snow remark, I've made it places my friends 4x4's couldnt... Take that!
