Could someone please recommend a good 4 gauge wiring kit for my Alpine PDX-4.100. When I called to get an estimate on installing it, the guy told me that the kit would cost $50. Is this about right? I have no idea what I should get.

Just want to be informed before he installs something.

$50 for a 4ga kit is average.....if you will be adding a sub amp in the future I would spend the extra $$ for a 2ga kit now and save re-doing it later.

For now I would install and amp the Kappas only.....the volume from them will be substantial and you can always add the other ones later after you have a sub system in there......

What vehicle is this all going into?

Thanks BigRedGuy,

I'll definitely get a 2 gauge kit as I plan on getting an Alpine type R sub and an Alpine PDX-1-1000. My vehicle is a wheelchair accessible Caravan.
