Fitting a 6.5" driver in a Ford

Hi there,

I'm seriously considering some 6.5 or maybe 7 inch drivers for my doors in my 2005 Ford Explorer. I do know that a 5.25" setup is the ideal scenario for this truck in terms of components, but there are some interesting products out there in the larger sizes

Given that the factory openings are 5x7/6x8", am I into major surgery by going with a larger driver, or is there some trick to mounting a 6.5 or maybe a 7" unit without cutting?

The reason I'm hesitant to cut is that I will probably only have this truck about 3 years max, and will likely want to pull my gear back out and reinstall most of the factory stuff.

I have a premade 1/4" abs template for this vehicle that allows a 6.75" driver to be mounted in it, no cutting. It is a most often used template so we went and had it created on a CNC router. These are included with the speakers should you purchase through me.
