Fixing RCA's?
Has anyone made/fixed RCA cables? Mine were all cut (at the plugs) by greasy, thieving punks. I'm trying to save money and I'm wondering how well the wires sound after such a repair. Any suggestions? (method, plug recommendations, etc.). I'd appreciate any help. Cheers...
They would sound just fine, the question is how long they would last. Really the only way you can fix them reliably is to solder them.
You just need to buy RCA plugs of the appropriate gender at any electronics store, and go to work. As I said though, unless you solder the plugs on, the cables may not last long.

i have made some custom RCA cable its kinda easy , just go to radioshak and grab your ends : get wire snipers and u will find a positive and negative in your rca , the outer one is the negative and the inside one is the positive
