Fused Dist. block or non-fused dis. block

Ok, I know the difference between a fused and a non fused distribution block. However, when running 2 amp off a distribution block is it 100% necessary to use a fused block?? I know its probably safer, but is it 100% necessary?

Don't bother. The fuse at the front is all you need.
