what ratio would you suggest 600x800?

pinhead I've never really have messed with the ratio (knowingly), so give 600x800 a shot.

And you better check for that on camera resolution selector both Nissan guy and dwvw spoke about. I don't think mine does that.

600x800???? that a panoramic shot???? [img]tongue.gif[/img] I'd say 640x480.... and yeah, you should be able to set the resolution from within the camera. But my suggestion is taking the picture at the highest quality, and using photoshop to shrink it afterwards.

I've used two levels, one gives images at 1200 x 803, the other 1792 x 1200.

I'm now keeping the large originals then cropping, resizing, etc, copies for hosting.

 

It'll get more fun when you start using the cam in full manual mode, setting proper ISO, shutter, and apperture settings in order to get the type of exposure you want!!!

 

Haha, not my cheapass hp! Point and shoot and hope for the best. If I get another it'll probably be a Cannon.
