Bear with me here because it has been over 20 years since I did a H/U install.

My wife bought me the Clarion 835 with all the needed hardware. Do I solder the wires on the end of the wiring harness to the wires on the end of the wire harness that came with the H/U?

Then just plug the wiring harness plug into the one that I removed from the back of the H/U?

Thats more or less the basic idea I suppose [img]smile.gif[/img]

Solder/heat shrink is my favourite, you can also connect them with crimp on/butt connectors.
