i got 2 hx2's running off a memphis 1500d and they keep on cutting out when pushed really hard. the box is ported. could the port tunning need to be adjusted to stop the subs from cutting out. or do the subs have a protection on them so when pushed hard they put the amp in protection so not to harm then. let me know anything could help.

 

Check for proper (tight and clean) power and ground connections for the amplifier wiring.

yes your subs have protection LOL

your amp has bad ground!!

 

make sure your amp can handle the load your subs are wired in at....what ohms can your amp handle and what ohms your subs are wired at. if your amp can't handle the load it might make it kick out when you crank it
