Help with car audio setup.

Hello All,

I have a bit of a scenario that I'm trying to wrap my head around.

So, I have an is300 and am looking to replace the stock speaker system.

So far I have changed the head unit(Sonxy DSX-S100 now which has basically 3 sets of outputs: front, rear & sub), and added a 10" sub w/ mono amp.

Here's the part that I originally consideted(easy part):
I wanted to replace the 6.5 front door speakers for 6.5 jbl components, the rear deck for jbl also.
All would connected through a 3-way crossover then off to the 4-channel amp & mono respectively.

-
This is where things got a little over my head, both sets of jbl's are 2ohm impedance. So let's set aside the fact there are 4 speakers that'll utilize 4-channels on an amp.

In addition to that I'd like to add: tweeters (to replace the stock ones close to the a-pillars), plus add 7" midbass(OR replace the 6x9's altogether with the 7inch midbass).

The tweeters are also 2ohm(I could settle for 4 ohm speakers though), however the midbass is 4ohm rated.

I figured I could get away with running the tweeters and 6.5's on the first two channels (6.5+tweet on 1, 6.5+tweet on 2).

I'd have a remainder of 2 channels to play with the 6x9 and/or the 7" midbass.

What I want to know:
I'm considering adding a second pair of tweeters to the fray. Honestly I'm not even sure how everything would mate up.

If I have a 2ohm stable multichannel amp(4?) and I connect:
1, 6.5 + 1, tweeter (both of which are 2ohm impedance) together just running a two cables from that set of channels to the speakers. (Cable from amp to 6.5, cable to tweeter all on the same Channel) will they still have the same impedance? (2ohm across the board) and the same for the other 6.5 n tweeter to channel 2. (Let's say both combinations will need 120w @2ohm).

Is it then possible(advisable) to run a different impedance oh the remaining two channels?

What I'm trying to accomplish is either:

A. Upfront:
- tweeters + 6.5 components. That covers the front doors/a-pillar (both running two ohm impedance covering channels 1&2)
Behind:
-Either:
i. 6x9's in the back + tweeters (both running two ohm impedance covering channels 3&4).
Or
ii. 7" midbass in back + tweeters (both potentially 4ohm rated... Possibly both wired in series to 2ohm covering channels 3&4).

I can provide exact model #'s etc of each item I'm considering if it helps. This entire planning process is giving me a headache.
