HELP! Confused about setup

After recently installing a Premier 600UB headunit into my '01 Blazer, I'm feeling the need to go the rest of the way. I'd like to replace the 6.5" door speakers and dash tweeters with a set of Component speakers, some new 6x9's in the back, and some time down the road a sub in the back. I'm hoping to start by just replacing the door/dash with components. Do you think I will need an amp for this right now? If I don't need it now, will I need it before replacing the 6x9s or only when I go to install the sub? Will I need a separate amp for my speakers and sub? or will a 4 channel amp drive the components/6x9/sub? This is all very confusing and I am on the verge of just having someone do this for me, but I was amazed at how easy the headunit install was, so I thought I could do this. Any help is appreciated, I was planning on doing this in stages, because this is my daily driver and can't be all torn apart for days at a time.

Do it in stages for sure and do it logically. I would be more than happy to earn your business and step you through it. Come up with a budget on the stages you plan. Do the front speakers first, then do the rear. Then add the 4channel amp. Then add a sub and amp in the end. When you do the wiring for the amp, ensure that the wiring is there for both amps.

Thanks for the reply MR2NR! I'm now wondering if it would make more sense to do the front components and amp at the same time, because wouldn't I need to rewire the speakers if I installed the amp later? Also, I see you have access to Premier stuff from Pioneer, that is good to know!
