I installed my JL 300/2 amp I had today.

Heres what I found.
My Pioneer deck has 3 pairs for pre-amp rca outputs. Front and Rear Speakers and a Sub output.

Im using the amp to power 1 JL 10w6 subwoofer bridged.

When I use the Sub-preouts into the JL amp, no sound comes from the subwoofer. When I pluged the Rear preouts into the JL amp, I get bass but with some but very little vocals even with the LP filter set.

I swapped RCAs just to make sure, even though it was hooked up to another amp powering my sub before and it was working fine. Still the same prob, so its not the RCAs.

Using the deck and the amp I can tune it to sound adequate. But I loose the ability to control the sub output from the deck.

Has anyone had this problem with JL amps? This is my first JL amp, I've had many others.

So basically my JL amp doesn't like my deck's suboutput for some reason.

Yup, I tried setting the input voltage to both high and low.

First I had the freqency filter at LP, then turned it off also nothing.

The sub outs were on, I made sure n I also tested it on another amp n it works, but as soon I as plug it into the JL I get nothing....until I switch it to the rear preout behind the deck
