There are too many varibles to check here. Is your amp still powering up? Are all your RCA connections in place? What about speaker wire, are they all still connected? You will have to check to make sure you don't have a broken connection somewhere. Then you can isolate were the problem is.

i checked everything its all powered. and connected, the amp is on just no sound coming from the sub, its a 12" infinity 1240 if that helps

Do you still have 12V+ at the power terminal of the amp? (measure with a test light or multi meter)

O.k assuming you have power to the amp.

-disconnect the sub from the amp, and test it with a 9V battery.. see if the woofer cone move or not. if its dead, then something is open. if its fine, then its the amp (assuming all power/signal are o.k).

ok i just took it out, and i believe 1 of the wires connecting to the terminal near the cone is partially not connected like a big chuck of the wire end is hanging, when i tried to maneuver the peice into the place its suppose to be i saw a lot of spark and the sub was somewhat back to life so i take it that would be my problem? i tried to power my rear speakers with my amp and it seems to work fine, i really doubt its an amp problem as its a new jbl gto 75.2

Why would your amp have a problem? if the problem was a bad speaker connection.
