Help! Wired new head unit speakers amp and sub, won't play!

So I wired in a new head unit amp speakers and a sub all alpine. It is on a 5 channel mrx-v70 amp, all speakers are connected properly to the amp and the amp to the head unit via 3 RCA cables. Now the head unit has power and responds also with the amp but none of the speakers or the sub are playing anything. I have gone over all the wires multiple times also the grounds. I have no clue as to why these wont play so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where are your gains set at on the amp?
Did you connect the rem wire from hu to the apm rem terminal?
Do you know if the amp is going into protect?

Remote is good. Gains are at 6(mid) just for standard playing before setting it..
How can I tell if the amp is in protect mode? Doesn't seem to be a special light or switch.
I'm going to grind the metal around the grounds maybe give it a better connection there is minor rust but I've hooked up too worse before so I can't see it being the problem.. We shall see.

Havent dealth with alpine amps, maybe the manual should have something on protect, if it has that feature.

Check voltage with a multimeter on power and speaker terminal and also rca voltage (make sure you are getting signal out of the rca's).

If you have a test speaker, connect it on the hu hi-output wires to make sure the hu playes music.

Whats the model of the hu?
