Hi, I recently installed a hertz hx300 and got my dads mate to fit it, but I don't think he fused it, I have a fuse but not sure how to fit, do I simply cut the cable and stick each end into the fuse? Or do I need stuff like ring terminals ? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but google confused me :L cheers

 

It depends on the fuse holder. Some take wire directly while others need rings.. Post a pic.
