I have been looking at my stuff for months and can't find the time to install so I'm going to get a professional to do it. Can someone have a look and estimate how much it may cost? Can someone recommend someone good in Ottawa to do the work?

You have a nice list already made, why not jump in the phone book and call a few shops.
Drop by in person, take a look at example installs they may have (usually shops have a small pic gallery of their fav. installs). Sounds like it will be a nice system, I am curious as to how much it will cost as well. As a reference, that would probably cost around $2,000 in Windsor (kickpanels are in the $800 area alone). |
ex.. I would check out Dashworks if I were you. I've seen some of their stuff and have been fairly impressed. Friend of mine got his whole Saleen Mustang done there.
Might also want to give Langlois a call. I saw a Fusion Jetta (I think) that they did. It was pretty nice too. Haven't seen anyone elses work in person though. (I'd avoid Derand though. I've had a few friends do business with them and I was really not impressed) |
Wont cost you anything, YOU ARE DOING IT YOUR SELF!!

DO NOT GO TO Langlois . Avoid them like a PLAQUE.
I had to get my alarm reinstalled by CAR TREK back in 98. They(Langlois) did not put a gormet in the firewall, this ended up having the wires strip as time went. BAD wiring install. Unfortunately, CAR TREK does not exist anymore. DashWorks is good but I recommend find somebody in TORONTO and getting it done. |

Thought you lived in Ottawa it takes like 5 hours not 10? [ May 24, 2004, 03:20 PM: Message edited by: 131.7 dB Z24 ] |
