how much would you pay for a set of door pods like this, and conversely if you were the installer, what would you charge??

More, that looks like vinyl on there which means that the underlying surface needs to be smoother than well uh, <insert smooth surface here>.

correct!! that is indeed vinyl, and lots of sanding and finishing involved

I'd guess we'd charge about $700ish for both doors.

I'd figure thats a full day of work for one guy at a shop rate of around $50 per hour so i'd say around $400 labour plus $125 materials

im doing something similar right now just for experience. the midranges will be angled a lot more though.

its really not that hard at all just time consuming. There are many tutorials all over the net of how to glass pods.

Hardest part for me is the finishing with vinyl
