HU amplifier

I'm about to order some P552's from JBL to go with my pair of p953s, I will be getting 4 of them to replace the 4 in my doors already. If the 552's have 55 watts RMS and 165 Peak and my HU (clarion VRX775vd) can put out 212 Watts (53 Watts × 4 Channels) would that cover it fine? I mean 2 watts each is nothing, but what about the peak power?

It'll work, but your deck probably doesn't out out anywhere near rated power, I suggest a nice clean 4 channel amp, you'll be happier with the results.

That 53 x 4 watts is not your root means square, its your peak wattage..
Your nominal watts for that deck are probably around 22 rms x4.. and yea, get an amp for sure

that sucks, well then help me out cuz i'm lost on what to do.

I have a sedan, which has 1 maybe 3" mid, and a 5 1/4" in each door. 4 in total. Plus 2 6x9's.

How would I amplify the2-6x9s as well as the 4-5 1/4s?

the 6x9s are 110/330 and 5s 55/165

=(
