I thought you should see this
I judged an SQ competing Honda 2 years ago that was just as bad if not worse. I wish I would have taken pictures. The best part was the guy was total attitude and thought his system was pimpin'. Towels and clothing holding the system together in the truck........... the stuff was just thrown in....... 16 gauge speaker wiring on everything in sight and it went on and on. I was kind in the beginning but when I saw the guy had zero interest in listening or wanting to learn anything about safety and cosmetics, I ripped him a new one. In the beginning he was Wigar-ing it as a bunch of people were standing around looking at his car........... and I guess he thought he was the stuff. It was priceless to hear the snickers from the by-standers about 2/3 the way through and see the guys face drop like water over Niagara Falls. Honestly, all I wanted the guy to do was pay a little attention and show some interest in wanting to improve his ghetto system................ talk about messed up.
If y'all have some worse pictures than this one please post em'. I love to see worse installs than my own. No, I don't have pictures of my own install thank you very much. Besides I've never kept the same install for more than 3 months.

i actually recognize a couple of those cars......
i think even the most ghetto install ive ever had a hand in didnt look near as bad as some of those "pro" jobs.... and that was running house speakers in the back of a firefly off the deck,.....
least i can say now when i wire an amp or a HU the wires are all zip tied and grouped for easy identification, and to reduce clutter and mess, incase for whatever reason someone else has to go in and work on it, they wont think WTF???? did a blind monkey on crack install this??? car audio is alot like cooking, presentation is important, and in the end its worth taking the extra 20-30 minutes to clean it up, separate and straighten wires, make sure everything is unseen, and out of a place where it could get pinched, cut or shorted.......
*sigh....* guess some of those pros just got lazy on a friday afternoon....
