wondering who here can recommend an a shop that puts out hi output toyota alternators OR who hAS a kit that relocates the toyota truck alternator to a higher up spot in the engine bay ( maybe replace it with a delco unit).

As toyota 22re motors they put thier altes way down low on the engine block and they tend to et full of mud etc and dont last long.

hey good to see another toy owner here. i am really interested in this also only not for the 22r. for the 3vze v6. any help would be awsome.
Toyrantula have you ever heard of excessive amperage? he could make you one more than likely.

 

i would need one also just for later on its true its close to the bottom of the car behind the engine practically in the middle of all the spark plug wires and some other stuff u mean 3VZ-FE Bodar lol i have a 2VZ-FE it should be simple to find one for the 3vz since dere so common being modded. but the 22re and my 91 2VZ would be a pain to find might have to custom one somehow would the lexus versions of our cars have more powerful ones?

3VZ-FE=ES300
sorry 22re i dont think any lexus' have ur engine cuz its 85-89 i think 22re is a 4cyl 4runner unless im mistaken.

 

the toyota V6 has an option.

Find a toyota mr2. the alternator is factory and is 100 amps. you can do a google search on it and find out more.

my problem is my alt gets packed in mud so i need a RELOCATE type kit to move it up and out of harm
