iv purchased this amp and i noticed on the futureshop website it says "input voltage- 5.7volts" is this voltage from the head unit? if so i cant seem to find anywhere that says the preamp voltage from my head unit, its a sony Xplod CDX-F7715X, i know a lot of people hate xplod its a pretty kick *** head unit, anyway any thoughts on this? i hate to think that iv spent all this money on that and the amp and have one of them fry on me...

ok i just found a website that says the preamp voltage is 4v. is this going to be an issue? or am i even looking at this from the right point of view. any imput would be greatly appreciated.

 

No you wont have any issues with that deck and amp. I have the that amp too btw just the 1210a model and I have an eclipse deck it has 5 volts preouts.

oh the deck dosint actually put out an actual 4 volts on music anyways

lol i know eh.... they r so over priced there, i got on ebay came to 415$ brand new (so it says) canadain including shipping not too bad i guess

2 10" infinity perfects 350rms each, bit much from the amp but thats ok lol

 

another thing, the website says u can buy a amp volume level **** for your dash like mtx amps but it doesnt come with one, futureshop has no idea (what else is new), and the infinity website doesnt mention it. any sugestions?
