install almost done
install almost done
Well my install is almost done, just need to mount the fans in the side of the amp rack, add some neons in the amp rack, put in the plexiglass and install the crossovers and distro blocks. It turned out to be a little more boring then I hoped for. Any suggestions?

BTW:
the subs are 2 12" AA Avalache running off a Matts 300HC
DLS Irdium 6.2 off an xtant 604X

man your i die to have your car lmao love the supras im a toyo guy and doupt ill ever change. it would be do able to cut the space needed but it would be hard specially that the box is carpeted what i would have done is taken the top plate and cut a square hole in it used the piece that was cut out to make the bottom of the cut out then cut the side peaces to make the dip in the box needed to install neons and the plate or witch ever you would decide to install
Go to a sign shop with a computerized router, ask for some 1/8 brushed or shined up alum.(what ever metal u like) ask them to route out any logo that you like, make a bit of space between the logo and the edges of the metal so u can install a led light on each side of the logo(underneath, so they're hidden) and rise it off the wood about an inch with some cool looking bolts. a small (very small and light) ballast will have to be connected either to the amp or battery to run the leds(takes very little power), one ballast will run alot of led lights so you could even put a few in other places if you'd like. go with a blue light, they always look sleeker.........just a suggestion, A friend actually routed out the rf logo out of a mdf board beforer it was installed, wrapped it in carpet, screwed some clear plexi to the bottom and put some blue led lights, really cool effect.
oh and I went with 4 neon blue tubes and 4 led blue case fans for ventilating the amp box
If I could get someone to make a rectangular box then I could mount the leds inside it and it will shine through the logo...I think thats what I'll try now. I'm going to ask my uncle if he can make it at his machine shop
He helped me with a lot of tools and custom bits during this project.
