Took a few pics of what I had done prior:

So, then I made some 1/8 MDF plates for the bigger holes in my rear deck, and deadened them into place:

Shoulda took more pictures of the building of the baffle, but here it is in the car:

This shows one sub sitting in the baffle, but they are actually going to hang off of the back. The 3/4" MDF should allow for enough excursion with what type of subs I'm considering, probably IDQ's or similar.

Then, test fitting the rear seats. Gives a good idea of the looks with the seats down, carpet is tomorrow.

The trunk is completely sealed from the cabin. Volume, I dunno, the intention is to run them freeair.
Car is a 2001 Regal GS.
Didn't get a lot done today, it was kind of a screw around day picking up supplies.
Spent a bit of time picking mounting points for the baffle, and predrilling for the sub mounting bolts.
Then, I carpeted the baffle:

With the woofer holes trimmed out:

First test fit in the car:

Testing the seat fit:

I was going to do T nuts to hold the subs but I didn't like the way they were going to look thru the carpet. Instead I'm bolting right thru the baffle with normal nuts.
This has led to a situation where the subs cannot be changed without unbolting the baffle. Makes them hard to steal, but also hard to service. I also need to buy subs ASAP to get the car back together.
