Hi,

I purchased a pioneer deck today. My car is a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, it had a stock Delco deck, and i bought a mount kit for it to make it fit. I have already made my wiring harness and have it into the mount kit, But .... someone has cracked the two screws on the bottom that it is supposed to go into, so now i need an alternate means of securing the deck and mount kit. I was thinking hot glue, but i guess the sun will just melt that as the car gets hot or the deck gets hot ...

SO .. does anyone know how i can get this mounted?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Find a product called Duramix. It applies like hot glue but when it hardens it is a permanent plastic compound. you can drill new holes through it and your good to go. Find it at a autobody supply shop or a good hobby store.
