Installing amp
I am thinking of installing my amp myself, i dont really have any experience, but with proper instruction i think ill be fine. does anyone know where i can get some good instructions on how to install and for things to watch out for. also would anyone know how to remove the head unit on a 2003 pontiac vibe. Any help is much appreciated!!

What type of amp is it? Mono, 2, 3, 4, 5+ channel?
Well if you've never done one before you will need to hook up a power wire from your battery to the amp, ground from the amp to trunk (try to keep as short as possible), Remote wire from Head Unit to the amp, and RCA's to bring the music to the amp. Also try to run your RCA's and Power/Gorund on opposite sides of the car for better noise reduction.

the amp you buy should come with some very basic instructions on installation everything else the good citizens of this forum will be able to help you with.
its fairly straight forward especially for a mono sub amp...you will need to run a power wire from your battery to the amp as well as a ground wire from your amp to a solid metal part of the car as close to the amp as possible then you will need to run some RCA's from the deck to the amp. then speaker wire to power your subs
its good to learn to install your gear yourself saves money and gives you the satisfaction of doing your own custom install
