have a super duty diesel and i`m adding a amp to my deck thats been lying around. question is which battery do i run the cable from, the primary battery closest to the alt, or the secondary, or does it really matter?

 

battery closest to your amp is what I usually recommend

 

yeah but doesn`t the primary battery closest to the alt receive more amperage?
