Laptop connected to car audio sys
Hi everyone,
This just crossed my mind today and thought Id see what people said. I have a little system set up in my van, kenwood deck, couple cheap subs 2 1000watt amps, pioneer 3 way speakers (4). I'm just wondering, what if i took the rcas with a Y splitter that could plug into the headphone jack on my laptop. Could I play sound in my car from my laptop being hooked up into the amp? I duno, just want to hear what people have to say. Thanks Cya |

Laptop
I connected my laptop's line out to the line in on my deck, although it worked, the only issue I had is the motor noise from the hard drive was picked up by my system.
Word of caution, don't be tempted to leave the laptop unattended in the car. |
To make it work perfectly you should get a Digiport AG USB external sound card to eliminate noise. This is the same card used in high powered dj and club systems. And from personal experience works perfect.
