Could someone point me in the right direction for Stereo Color code for a 00 Cavi?? Found one it says there is no Acc switch, and it is a strap ground.

Anyone know the color codes??

Well I checked out both of those, and still have some questions. On the 2000 and up Cavi's, there is no Acc wire. and also just curious if anyone has the actual 2000 Cavi color code. Want to be sure I do this right for the guy.

There is no ignition wire in this car due to the Class II databus system. You need to get your +12v ign wire at the steering column. It will be the pink wire coming from the ignition cyclinder and follows down the steering column. Please do a search on this topic and the fact about the proper way and improper way to add a aftermarket radio to this vehicle.

 

Just cover your ***, incase something happens like the phantom Air Bags not working, or whatever other **** might be associated with the stocker being removed, that way if by chance this actually happens for once you can't be blamed.

 

go buy a pac data retention module it will give you acc, keep your door chimes and retain the deck stays on till you open the door deal. its the proper way to do it. any good shop will have one of these.
