LOC Install troubles...
Hi all... im a little stumped here on my next step. Ive installed a LOC in my 2008 Escape. Its this model, http://www.scosche.com/scosche/electronic/SLC4.asp
Issue: When the RCAs are plugged in all the way there is no sound. If the RCAs are plugged in half way (like the outter shield is not quite touching) I have sound. But its sound.
I spliced it in per the little book that came with it. When i put the components in the door i just checked the wiring color of the stock speakers and used those same colors up at the radio.
The amp is an infinity 7451a. I have tested the amp in my other car and it worked fine.
Might the LOC be damaged or is it the wiring up in the harness?
Thx for looking :]

but i couold be a issue with the loc as well. or you have 12v to the grounud side of the loc. try just having one channel wired. Does this unit have a ign or 12 v in ?

So up at the HU end of the harness i spliced in there, using the white as my + on the left and the purple stripe on the right. From all the other diagrams i looked at, the solid or darker color is usually the +. Ive used it both ways and it dont matter.
It seems like a ground but i dunno where, going to go mess with it some more... thx for the replies!
What unit? Does the loc have 12v in? Not to my knowledge. there is 4 rca outs, 2 for front 2 for right. And input for the wire from the harness. Also a gain for each.
