ok so my amp can put out 380w rms x1 @4ohm... thats bridged.. i'm wondering if it's possible to get that much or more safely bridged at 2 ohm.. theres nothing in the specs about being bridged at 2 ohm.. although it says it can put out 190w rms x2 @ 2ohm.. anyone got an answer? this is not possible to do is it beause the amp is not stable at 1 ohm right amp is pioneer GM-5300T

 

Bridging it, chances are you will not be able to go as low as 2ohms. It will go into protection mode.

 

Unless you have some sort of freak amp that can do 1 ohm on all channels, don't plan on it.

 

Nah dude. Don't feed it 2ohm bridged. That amp will only push 2-2ohm subs one on each channel, or 1 4ohm sub bridged.

 

I have 6 of the 5100T. didn't know they were up to 53..
At 2 ohm, it will shut itself down, but since its doesn't have display or diagnostics, you'll have no idea whats wrong.
You can get away with 3 ohm, or 1.5 per channel, but you won't get more than 380 wrms, its current limited.
