Hello, I have a 74 VW Super Beetle and the trunk in the front is completely metal. This isn't good, because things will rattle and it really blocks the sound. The Sub is also pointing up which doesn't help. What can I do to it, like is there something you can put on it? Let me know either leave a message or PM me thanks.

What do you have for subs? I would suggest trying to get them into the storage area behind the back seat if possible. Super Beetles are not built the same as ordinary Beetles, if you cut metal under the hood you will seriously compromise the integrity of the suspension.

Cut a hole and weld in a steel pipe on the outside of the port. This will able you to keep the "perfromance" suspension...

I still wouldn't do that in that car. It doesn't have a torsion bar front suspension like earlier Beetles, it is McPherson Struts, the metal in between the strut towers ties the suspension together.
